Having calculated the average value among all competitor sites, there will be an approximate number to which you should strive. In addition to quantity, it is also necessary to pay attention to the quality of Domain Rating (DR) donor sites. The more authoritative the site that links to your site, the higher the level of trust of search engines, and therefore the positions will not be long in coming. Therefore, before placing a link on the site, it is worth checking its DR.

We continue to collect data from competitors, namely, we need to upload the anchors that they use and create an anchor list. Anchor is text with a link to the site, which is placed between the tags <a> and </a>. It looks like this:

Types of anchors

  • Straight
  • Indirect
  • Anchorless

Direct (exact occurrence of the key)

The anchor contains a link with the exact match of the request. Not recommended for frequent use as it looks unnatural. It is best to use such an anchor on an authoritative site similar in topic to yours.

Indirect (diluted)

Such anchors include word forms, that is, keywords are declined by case and number, diluted with additional words. Also use keyword synonyms and text in reverse order.

Anchorless

  1. Links (URLs). Anchor consists of a link. It looks like this: www.mysite.com
  2. Such an anchor is considered the most natural.
  3. Branded. Includes the name of your website, company.
  4. Indicative. Contain the words: here, here, follow the link, read more here.

Anchorless links are considered the safest. They are recommended to give away 80% of the site’s link profile. Accordingly, 20% are anchor links.

After all the calculations and analyzes, you can start building up the reference mass. What are the ways to get the coveted link. The simplest is to buy placements with money. There are a sufficient number of exchanges that are engaged in posting articles with links on other sites. You can order the writing of an article or write it yourself, and put your own anchor. The next way is a mention on the forum, questionnaire or review with a link. One of the most difficult ways is outreach, here your task is to agree with the site owner to place a link on his site in exchange for placing it on your site, or another service.

Most importantly, when building a link profile, take your time. The growth in the number of links should be smooth and without sudden jumps, and after reaching the required level, maintain it. It is necessary to carefully approach each site, check the following:

  • Theme (do not post a link to winter tires on the forum for young mothers);
  • Quality (there are enough services to check);
  • What links are already on the site (do not take into account sites, we are talking about gambling, pornography, the provision of sexual services, the distribution of drugs, smoking mixtures, etc.);
  • Attendance (after all, they should hear about us, there are also enough services)

If you take into account all of the above, you will be able to get a high-quality link profile and take high positions in the search engine results. But if you do not have enough knowledge and skills to qualitatively increase the reference mass, you should contact trusted specialists.
